Ingredients (8 pieces)

Water Dough...
160 gm flour
60 gm butter
30 gm sugar
65 ml water

Oil Dough
90 gm flour
50 gm shortening

~ Filling : Homemade Kaya
~ Egg wash

Preparation

1) Combine water dough ingredients to form a big ball, rest 30 minutes. then divided to 8 portions or 4 portions

2) Combine oil dough ingredients to form a ball, rest 30 minutes. Then divided to 8 portions or 4 portions

3) Take a piece of oil dough and place it inside the water dough. Wrap up to seal.

4) step by step, please refer to pictures attached.

5) Brush with egg wash on the surface.

6) Bake in preheated oven at 350F / 180C for 12 minutes, then take out to brush egg wash again, place back to oven bake for another 13 minutes or till golden brown.

~ Actually you can divide water / oil dough for 4 portions, when reached to step 5, cut each portion into half, become 8 pieces, next step is flatten ~ filling ~ pleat the edges.
