Cheese Tart Recipe

Pastry:-

  • Butter 65g
  • Castor Sugar 25g
  • Egg 1/2 (25g)
  • Superfine Flour 125g

Filling :-

  • Cream Cheese 125g
  • Butter 15g
  • Castor 25g (I reduced to 15g)
  • Egg 1/2 (25g)
  • Superfine Flour 15g
  • Fruits Jam (blueberry, strawberry.....your favourite jam)

Method:-

Pastry : Cream butter, sugar till light. Add egg and cream till creamy, fold in flour to form a dough. Rest for 15 minutes. Roll & cut round shape and press out in tart moulds, prick with fork and bake at 180°C for 15 - 20 minutes.

Filling :- Beat cream cheese, butter and sugar till light. Add egg and beat till creamy. Fold in flour till well combined. Spoon some jam filling into the baked tart shells and cover with cream cheese filling. Bake at 180°C for 12 - 15 minutes till light brown.
